WHAT TO EXPECT

This is the key technical department for the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. There are three parts to it: Attribute Quality and Process, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. Working here, you’ll give our vehicles their unique characteristics. It's all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.

Vehicle NVH is responsible for ensuring this Attribute achieves the customer expectations for all Jaguar and Land Rover programmes. Targets are set and cascaded for the full vehicle, systems and components. Hardware is developed and detailed investigations undertaken to ensure vehicles achieve all defined targets.

 

You'll work in the well-established Delivery team and be responsible for a future Jaguar Land Rover product. You'll guide cross-functional teams to deliver all aspects of NVH (OSQ, Solidity, Road NVH, Wind noise, etc.) during the hardware phases of the programme, after the Virtual Vehicle has been frozen, to Final Engineering Completion.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A strong appreciation of NVH hardware delivery/development – 1-2 years’ experience with presentation skills to influence the Programme team and Component Owners. You’ll also have the ability to work independently and to influence a team to focus on delivery to meet programme gateway requirements, including timing. You’ll also obtain a Batchelor degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or equivalent with a full clean UK Driving Licence (or equivalent).
