Location: Halewood, UK

Salary: £37,284

 

WHAT TO EXPECT

 

With your expertise and attention to detail, you'll be based in our state-of-the-art Halewood plant, working exclusively within our Body Construction team. Within your role you’ll provide a world-class Tooling Maintenance & Fabrication service by maintaining and repairing tooling fixtures, and manufacturing tooling components.

 

It will be within our Body Construction area that you’ll undertake provide planned maintenance on our fixed handheld tooling. Safety is key within the area, and you’ll be tasked with maintaining a safe and functional working environment. Additionally, you’ll undertake the timely completion of tooling fixture alterations & fabrication requests.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Alongside a completed relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship in Engineering or Toolmaking, we would expect you to hold  significant knowledge of machining processes on lathes, mills,etc. You'll be competent with using manual welding equipment (MIG etc). Ideally you'll have the ability to read & interpret mechanical schematic drawings.
