This is an exciting role which will appeal to both performance enthusiasts and those specialising in niche luxury products. SVO is a fast-growing organisation which has a significant impact on overall Jaguar Land Rover revenues. The small SVO Product Marketing team are responsible for bringing all SVO products to market including Halo vehicles, limited editions and packs, and ‘collector’s editions’. You’ll work on the full range of SVO products across both Jaguar and Land Rover brands.

The role involves working closely with the wider SVO product delivery teams and core Product and Brand Marketing functions, operating to challenging timelines and helping to shape the products which appropriately meet the needs of Jaguar Land Rover’s most discerning customers. This provides a unique opportunity to be involved in all aspects of Jaguar Land Rover product delivery in a smaller scale ‘business within a business’.

You’ll be working on all phases of product programmes, from initial concept through to market launch and beyond. You’ll need to deal with a number of competing demands with minimal supervision.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As a SVO Product Analyst and Marketing Analyst, you’ll have the ability to analyse data and present conclusions using Excel and PowerPoint as well as an interest in and a demonstrable breadth of knowledge of the automotive industry, with an awareness of markets, brands and customer needs particularly those relevant to Jaguar Land Rover and SVO (background in niche/performance products would be advantageous).

You’ll be comfortable challenging stakeholders with strong influencing and engagement skills. You’ll be able to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style. You’ll be prepared to question where appropriate and challenge the established wisdom bringing a ‘fresh eyes’ approach as well as be familiar with business protocols and able to handle sensitive and secret information with due regard.

You’ll ideally be degree qualified or have equivalent experience for this role. It’ll be advantageous if you have worked in the Automotive Marketing, Product Development, Manufacturing or Finance role, with a good technical understanding of the whole vehicle. Some experience of leading projects including financial content would be beneficial.
