The Supplier Parts Quality Engineer is responsible for working on and fixing supplier quality concerns supporting both production line and internal audits.  The role will require strong leadership and communication as the role requires both managing and working with Jaguar Land Rovers Supplier base and working with in house teams to solve quality concerns. Candidates will be involved Quality Problem Solving, major rework planning, audit status reviews and leading on high priority quality concerns.
 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You'll need to be able to work cross functionally, with external parts suppliers, our production and Launch Teams and Plant Quality, so the ability to develop and foster good working relationships is key. Day to day you'll utilise your knowledge of production systems, lean manufacturing principles and problem solving techniques to resolve quality issues. The role will require an ability to Present and communicate well as well having good understanding of IT. You'll have ideally have a track record in a face paced manufacturing environment and be able to demonstrate issue resolution and corrective action processes. You'll need to be a team player, ensuring communication is open, direct and clear with a strong desire to achieve targets.
