WHAT TO EXPECT
As the Subject Matter Expert for Exterior Ornamentation you’ll focus on the future development of technologies, complex systems, methods and tools including the research and deployment of new knowledge into vehicle programs; supporting ongoing product and quality improvements whilst also capturing lessons learned, back into the. 
You’ll become part of an evolving department within Body Engineering; developing advanced feature strategies and lead content delivery across programmes, as well as exposure to a variety of components, systems, suppliers and functions; playing a key part in driving robustness and quality into the team.
You can expect to define and design activities, and interface with the engineering, purchasing, programmes, marketing and manufacturing functions; whilst also liaising with suppliers. Additionally, you’ll manage system compatibility issues and support system strategy development for components and features.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
A passion for automotive technology and significant plastic moulding/decoration experience is essential. You’ll also have experience of leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within a project environment with excellent analytical skills. Experience of exteriors and interiors would be beneficial.
