Aerodynamics plays an important role in the creation of our products, contributing to better energy efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions, amongst other benefits. Working within our Thermal and Aerodynamic Systems Engineering (TASE) department as a Computational Fluid Dynamics SME, you’ll provide quality, on-time simulations and virtual testing for specified vehicle architecture.

 

Developing simulation plans whilst maintaining current procedures, you’ll be constantly improving our simulation processes, training aerodynamics engineers and documenting all learned expertise and changes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

A degree or higher in aerodynamics or soiling / external water management simulation is a must, with extensive experience of computational fluid dynamics analysis, reporting of results, and recommendations also required. You’ll have worked with Aerodynamic or Aeroacoustic or climatic wind tunnels, developing improvement strategies and managing test results and reports.

 

Experience of working with design functions is highly desirable, as is any technical troubleshooting or process improvement experience in an engineering environment.
