WHAT TO EXPECT

The Studio Engineering Team's main responsibility is to ensure that design integrity is maintained, whilst ensuring vehicle delivery remains feasible. In your role as a Studio Engineer, you'll be running the feasibility development of a zone of a car, reporting in to the Lead Studio Engineer and Studio Engineering Manager.

 

You'll be working closely with both design and attribute teams to drive compatibility between design themes and programme assumptions, ensuring communication via the Design Programme Attribute Team, the main forum for design issue resolution. You'll liaise with multiple stakeholders, understanding and interrogating input to ensure both quality and feasibility.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You'll be technically creative, possessing a background in engineering design and the delivery of vehicle packages, system components, or attribute driven technical solutions. You'll have exceptional people skills, driving cross-functional feasibility alongside design requirements.

 

Ideally you'll have worked in an automotive design environment and will possess an engineering degree or similar. You'll understand design processes and will be able to use communication and project delivery skills in a highly complex, technical design environment.
