As the STA Engineer, you’ll develop the capacity and quality performance of all new product and current vehicle suppliers to Special Operations.
You’ll also support the planning, monitoring and controlling of supplier manufacturing processes and activities to enable high quality and on time execution of product programmes whilst maintaining and improving current car performance. This will include conducting supplier assessment as part of the Global Sourcing Process, helping to deliver Phased Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and improving on-going performance of suppliers to assist in guaranteeing a flawless launch.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
As well as strong communication and interpersonal skills, you’ll also demonstrate excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills. You’ll have a proven leadership track record within a manufacturing or technical environment with the ability to manage and execute complex projects on time and within budget.
You’ll have a passion for quality and attention to detail, with an analytical mindset coupled with a sound knowledge of problem solving tools and techniques including APQP/PPAP/PSW. You’ll also have experience within a Vehicle Engineering/Quality function and be familiar with the Global Product Development System along with the ability to facilitate resolution of complex cross-functional issues.
You’ll also need a Full UK driving license and be able to travel worldwide without restrictions.
