WHAT TO EXPECT

The Global Programmes & Operations Management team is the interface between the teams delivering vehicle and global manufacturing programmes, from early strategy development, through delivery phases, and up to the launch of the programmes and projects.

 

As a Sourcing Coordinator you’ll join us within the key area of Customer Relationship Management, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that gateways and checkpoints are successfully executed from strategy to launch phases. You’ll be responsible for coordinating the deliverables related to cost within the new project and programme framework, driving the continuous improvement, and solving any problems when working cross-functionally with key stakeholders, internal customers, and process improvement teams.

 

You’ll also be working directly with the commercial Purchasing teams to ensure that any risk to on- time sourcing are flagged, and working with the relevant stakeholders to develop plans to remove that risk.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need the ability to negotiate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives, while your creative skills and problem-solving experience will help you define or improve processes.

You’ll have strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines. Along with strong Excel skills, you’ll also have a high attention to detail, a proactive attitude and the ability to be assertive in challenging others when required.

 

Ideally you’ll have a record of operating within a defined project or programme management office including knowledge of project management. You’ll need the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships, which you’ll demonstrate through working positively and credibly with a wide range of stakeholders including, project team members and service suppliers.
