WHAT TO EXPECT

Product Development Engineering is the key technical department for the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. There are three parts to it: Attribute Quality and Process, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. Working here, you’ll give our vehicles their unique characteristics. It's all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.

 

As a SOTA Operations Support Engineer, you’ll be responsible for managing the Software-over-the-air (SOTA) upgrades, reviewing the design requirements and responsible for the end-to-end validation to make sure the SOTA delivery to In Vehicle Infotainment is robust.

 

You’ll work with a team of developers both on-site and offshore in delivering test methods, and create test approach documentation for all functional design verification testing. You’ll be required to work closely with engineers to refine software requirements and clarify issues during software launch and development phase.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll have an understanding of delivering Software-over-the-air (SOTA) upgrades, electrical systems and technical delivery experience. Also, you’ll have practical experience of working with either physical, electrical or software based technology, and experience of leading planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of test methods.
