WHAT TO EXPECT

In your new role as a Service Architect, you’ll be behind the service architecture, strategic direction, planning, and service design of the new service that will underpin our IT services. We’re currently driving a bold change initiative that will allow us to create a new cloud services portfolio, including our public and on-premise data centre, and you’ll be at the centre of this fundamental transformation that will use agile development to improve our infrastructure service offering.

You’ll be:

· Reporting to and supporting the Head of Infrastructure as a Service Product Manager
· Responsible for strategic planning and direction
· Driving change to allow Agile development of infrastructure services

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll be an out and out expert when it comes to product management as a discipline, bringing proven experience from a cloud or infrastructure services perspective. You’ll have plenty of product roadmap ownership experience, and you’ll have delivered both software-defined infrastructure and worked on Infrastructure as a Service provision.

You’ll also need to have in-depth knowledge of what it takes to deliver service architecture and produce service models, service designs, and process definitions.

You’ll have:

· Plenty of passion and knowledge for the science of product management
· Experience of delivering and launching a number of infrastructure and cloud products
· The ability to design and define processes that contribute to a world-class service model
