Dreaming for tomorrow is about more than ideas and ambitions. We’re already building the next generation of vehicles, using repurposed and brand-new technology and techniques. We’re doing more than dream, we’re creating the future of mobility and automotive for years to come.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Here, you’ll design, develop and shape the future of our electronic systems. By helping us find visionary developments in everything from hybrid vehicles and infotainment to advanced electronic systems integration and electrics.

Earlier this year, Jaguar Land Rover announced a long-term strategic partnership with Waymo, formerly Google’s self-driving car project. The Jaguar I-PACE is at the heart of this partnership, with both companies working together to develop the world’s first premium self-driving electric vehicle, set to join Waymo’s driverless transportation service. Up to 20,000 vehicles will be part of the Waymo driverless fleet in the US by 2020. This long-term strategic collaboration will further Waymo and Jaguar Land Rover’s shared goals: to make cars safer, free up people’s valuable time and improve mobility for everyone.

As Sensor Engineer, you’ll work within the ADAS function as part of the team understanding vehicle technical implementation for ADAS and Automated Driving. You’ll manage relationships with Automated Driving partners, support the preparation and implementation of driving prototypes, and identify, tests, analyse and recommend future technologies to be implemented in series production vehicles.

In addition you’ll use your expert knowledge on sensor technologies (radar, camera, lidar, ultrasonic, others) and be responsible for the effective delivery of new prototype vehicles and interfacing with main stakeholders (ADAS Technical Specialists and Group Leaders)

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You'll need specific experience in ADAS sensors, present and future trends. Technical experience in automotive electronics embedded development and delivery of rapid prototyping solutions this will also include experience with network analysis tools such as vector tools.

In addition to this, you’ll need the ability to work in a mixed team of skilled in house electrical engineers and Supplier Engineers. You must be passionate about ADAS technology with the willingness to learn. Good communication skills, data driven, a thorough approach and an analytical mind set is required

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, private medical cover and performance related bonus scheme. As a manager, you’ll also be able to select one of our luxury premium vehicles to lease at a fraction of the cost. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
