SALARY: £33,000 - £42,500

As CAE Engineer – Seating within our Body Engineering Department you’ll leading the CAE analysis of our row 1 seats, influencing the design and development of Jaguar Land Rover Interior Systems by the application of the best processes and CAE techniques early in the design cycle. You’ll use powerful optimisation technologies which consider multiple attributes including crash, noise vibration and harshness, and durability.

 

You’ll support the development of the automotive components and systems using engineering knowledge combined with CAE techniques to meet Safety/NVH Durability performance targets. You’ll run CAE Analysis, summarise results and feedback conclusions to the component Lead Engineers whilst working effectively with the design teams to develop and optimise solutions.

 

We’re a world-class team of simulation engineers developing modelling tools and environments, working in collaboration with all engineering teams to deliver the engineering for iconic vehicles known and respected throughout the world.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With experience of CAE methodologies using Primer, 3D Plot and T-HIS and/or Hyperworks to run LS-Dyna and Optistruct, Safety and NVH analysis, to meet defined performance targets and supporting engineering or analytical projects, working across design teams to optimise solutions. If you have worked in automotive structural development preferably Seating, even better.
