Every minute of every day, thousands of parts and materials from all over the world are shipped and delivered to our plants, ready to be utilised on our production lines within hours. At the same time, hundreds of customers from across the globe are handed the keys to their newly transported vehicles. A feat like this doesn’t just happen. Behind this momentous undertaking are our Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) team, coordinating on a massive scale to ensure our vehicles continue to roll smoothly off the production lines and into the hands of the customers awaiting them.

The Global MP&L function interacts with all areas of Jaguar Land Rover including Product Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Aftermarket, Sales and Marketing and controls and manages the Global end to end supply chain from sales and operations planning, material management and control through the manufacturing plants to the end delivery of the vehicle to the dealer network and ultimately to the customer. 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In your role as Scheduling & Shipping Analyst you'll employ your bright ideas and analytical skills to keep our manufacturing operation operating at a world class level. You'll have previous project management experience in supply chain/logistics and be confident providing clear, concise presentations to varying levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally. You’ll use your excellent team working skills to deliver projects and presentations on time and to a premium standard and be able to build effective relationships with the wider team using your high calibre written and verbal communication skills. A working knowledge of SAP systems would be beneficial alongside the ability to work in a fast paced, complex environment. Along with these skills you'll be confident dealing with large data sets from Microsoft Excel and be able to provide clear and concise information to the wider team.
