LOCATION: Warwick University, Warwickshire
WHAT TO EXPECT
Every product. Every process. Every environment. Our vehicles continually set the benchmark for luxury, innovation and performance thanks to our unrivalled commitment to infinite detail. Join us within our Purchasing teams, and you’ll be the driving force behind it all.
The SAP Ariba Analyst is the conduit between the Jaguar Land Rover Purchasing business, IT, SAP and our other third-party organisations responsible for ensuring a high-quality service provision. In this vital role, you’ll be responsible for ensuring that the SAP Ariba solution is maintained effectively and for delivering any new functional requirements. Working closely with Purchasing Transformation and Operations, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to liaise with associated stakeholders as well. As a subject matter expert, you’ll make practical use of your ability to translate functional and technical aspects of SAP Ariba into business language, as well as be the voice of the Purchasing team into IT.
Operating with the scope of the upstream Sourcing and Contract Management modules, you’ll have experience of working in a Purchasing function within a manufacturing environment. You’ll provide end-to-end SAP Ariba functional support and act as point of escalation for technical SAP Ariba-related issues raised by our business. You’ll also assume the role of the SAP Ariba Purchasing Design Authority, ensuring that business requirements are successfully delivered by working closely with Purchasing Transformation and Operations and associated stakeholders. IT interactions will include the SAP programme team, IT CoE and the IT service delivery team. Working with the business to ensure that SAP Ariba changes are understood, you’ll see these are processed by the technical, IT, and shared services teams in a timely manner.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
As this is a very technical role, you’ll need experience of SAP Ariba Sourcing and Contract Management. Additional knowledge and experience of purchasing processes will also be desirable, and you’ll ideally have worked with a Purchasing function or in a project management environment. Experience of resolving change requests, incidents and implementing continuous improvements as well as knowledge of how a change life cycle works will also be required. A working knowledge of SAP procurement and purchasing products and modules would be beneficial.
BENEFITS
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
