WHAT TO EXPECT
The Human Resources team at Jaguar Land Rover has recently undergone a massive transformation project. That’s why we need your help to keep us focused as we move forward on our path to a successful transition.
Joining an existing team of Safety Advisors, your role will be to provide health, safety and wellbeing advice, as well as conducting audits and ensuring manufacturing sites are fully compliant with all relevant current and future legislation. You’ll plan and undertake internal reviews or projects, in accordance with agreed working practices, appraising the relevant risks, processes and controls to identify opportunities for improvements to the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance systems on the site. You’ll also support the implementation of the health and safety strategy through the evaluation of statistical data, past findings and knowledge of corporate, industry and wider external developments.
Where appropriate, you’ll coordinate and supervise the work of external regulators, auditors or third-party consultants, and you’ll liaise with external stakeholders to enable achievement of business objectives. This role will also involve developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders with the aim of raising awareness, influencing process change and driving continuous improvement and the adoption of best practice.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
To be successful you’ll be a flexible, motivated and approachable individual. You’ll come to this role holding a NEBOSH diploma and ideally possessing previous experience in developing safety management systems and safety behavioural programmes. It is likely you’ll have conducted audits, and you should also demonstrate a sound level of computer literacy and a full UK driving licence.
BENEFITS
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
