WHAT TO EXPECT

Prototype Vehicle Operations (PVO) assists with the development of a world class 3D Printing bureau, supporting the internal workforce of Jaguar Land Rover. The role requires flexibility, teamwork, forward thinking and an eye for detail. You’ll also need to adapt to new technologies being introduced into 3D printing/Rapid Prototyping process.

 

As a Model Maker you’ll be responsible for 3D print builds to be processed in a timely manner, ensuring all machines are running efficiently and maximising production and applying a logical modelling approach to achieve the delivery of prototype models.

You’ll also support the implementation and monitoring of the departments compliance with corporate initiatives/standards. You’ll follow health and safety procedures and requirements within the facility, alongside taking ownership of all associated housekeeping.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Alongside a completed advanced modern apprenticeship or a level 3 qualification in the relevant field You’ll also have the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and will be familiar with principals of shop floor CAD.

You’ll be an effective team player, with good interpersonal and coordination skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment. You’ll be enthusiastic and have excellent quality awareness, with the drive to deliver a world-class product.
