WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Road Test Quality Inspector, you’ll operate the test-in and test-out quality control process. You’ll work across a wide range of classic vehicles, each with varying customer requirements. You’ll assess the vehicle upon arrival; carry out primary diagnosis; and you’ll write reports on the vehicle’s condition.

You’ll also be responsible for final quality control, ensuring all vehicles are complete and correct in all aspects before they’re delivered, or handed to the Jaguar Land Rover audit team. Finally, you’ll also be involved in repairs and rectification of vehicle faults.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Experienced in a customer facing role, you’ll bring strong vehicle knowledge, broad knowledge of heritage cars, and a problem solving approach to the workshop. Alongside a completed relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship, you’ll be confident in communicating with both your team and customers, and will be computer literate too.

Combining your passion for classic cars and strong customer service skills, you’ll be professional at all times when dealing with customers and third party suppliers as a representative of Jaguar Land Rover.

You’ll need to hold a full driving licence for this role. Previous experience within a similar role, or a passion for working on motor vehicles in your own time, would help you to hit the ground running in our busy workshop. Your advanced vehicle skills and passion are of the utmost importance here.
