As a Research Engineer you’ll be at the forefront of vehicle innovation and research, responsible for the management and delivery of Body Engineering research projects to mainstream component and attribute areas using Milestone processes. This includes detailed scoping of a project, ensuring all documentation is kept up-to-date and regular project reviews.
You’ll also be supporting all formal gateways with presentation material and written reports, which are used for sharing the knowledge gained and decisions made over the course of each project to help build on our position as a highly competitive brand.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll have an understanding of the materials, properties, manufacturing and assembly processes uses in the production of Body Engineering components such as Pressing, Injection moulding, SMC/Composite production and Casting.
You’ll be highly enthusiastic about new technologies and are able to review and identify future trends. You’ll have experience of program or project management, meeting demanding timescales with budget control
