WHAT TO EXPECT

Network Development has operational and strategic responsibility for ensuring that our UK retailer network is structured, resourced, and motivated to deliver performance to our premium standards and in a manner that is fully supportive of the Jaguar and Land Rover brands.  The department's scope encompasses all aspects of Franchising, Retailer Standards, Network Reporting, Business Management and Retailer Training and Development.

As Regional Financial Performance Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the financial health and performance of retailers within a defined region by developing close working relationships with the retailers and collaborating with our Field Teams. You’ll be responsible for managing all levels of retailer risk and financial investment within their Region. You’ll develop and implement action plans and strategies to improve retailer profitability, devoting focused attention to the bottom quartile performers. You’ll work to ensure full engagement with the retailers together with support from the Field Teams to deliver a positive result. 

You’ll present regularly on the financial health and profitability of the regional retailers, identifying key trends and issues in order to inform understanding and decision making.

Finally, you’ll ensure every Retailer submits their annual budget by the required deadline and perform a high level review in conjunction with the Business Analyst ensuring the plans are both realistic and achievable.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll be a qualified accountant with relevant post qualification experience. You’ll have a high level of business acumen and an in depth understanding of the key drivers of a Manufacturer/Retailer business. Knowledge of retailer operations and composite reporting is going to be essential, and operational or field experience would also be useful.
