WHAT TO EXPECT

An exciting opportunity to join the Software and Connected Technologies Procurement team has just opened within our Production Purchasing team.

 

As a Regional Delivery Buyer you’ll have the opportunity to join a fast moving team responsible for bringing our vehicles into a digital world of Connected Cars, Electrification, Autonomous Driving and more.

 

You’ll be managing the delivery of these digital and technological commodities focusing on contract management, post-sourcing activities, through to end of life for our award-winning vehicles, covering multiple domains such as cloud services and platforms, on-board technologies, and software related services.

 

To make an impact on our software and connected technologies, you’ll lead in the creation, planning, and delivery of our Sourcing Commodity strategies, with a focus on our supplier relationship management. You’ll liaise with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop sourcing strategies, objectives, and plans, making all the necessary arrangements to ensure that cost, risk, and service requirements are met.

 

You’ll be accountable for the successful commercial and contractual completion of sourcing projects and for developing and establishing a pipeline of sourcing activities in line with contract expiry dates, potential cost saving opportunities and new investment projects to help make your mark and drive us into the future.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll join us with relevant experience within a technology or software based role or industry and have excellent contract management skills and experience.

 

You’ll have the knowledge and forward thinking of what software can be used within the automotive industry, to enhance our customers’ car driving experience.

 

In addition you’ll have the communication and interpersonal skills required to influence others and challenge existing thinking in a positive way.
