LOCATION: Coventry, West Midlands

WHAT TO EXPECT

The Quality Assurance department has the primary objective of driving year-on-year client satisfaction and quality improvement on customer vehicles. You’ll be joining the Quality Assurance team, whose main aim is to drive and enable quality improvements throughout the business. The team are thus responsible for the current model quality improvement process, using a method called the Customer Quality Operating System which involves detecting customer quality issues worldwide from a variety of sources. The system defines the incoming data into actionable issues, root cause analysis, fix development, cost optimisation, fix introduction, and fix effectiveness verification.

In your role as a Quality System Analyst, you’ll help with the objective to find and resolve more cases faster through the use of the Customer Quality Operating System. You’ll liaise with cross-functional teams such as Product Development, Manufacturing, Customer Service, and Suppliers and you’ll support in the delivery of integrated solutions to position problem-solving teams and to create and manage systems that have the capability to gather, store, organise, manipulate, calculate, analyse, format, and report vast amounts of data in order to create actionable information.

A key focus of your role will be to help the Quality Systems implement technology solutions to turn data into information and then further into insight by determining the requirements of the cross-functional teams. Reporting to the Quality Systems Manager, you'll be involved in conducting full system life cycle activities, starting with requirements analysis, solution design and development, deployment, and end-user training.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For your role as a Quality System Analyst, you’ll have experience working with quality data sets, and you’ll be confident in developing, implementing, and maintaining data collection systems that optimise data quality and operating efficiency. Possessing strong analytical skills and a high level of process awareness, you’ll be experienced in gathering and documenting business requirements for technical projects, including leading workshops for requirements and business process capture.

Your confidence with communication and presenting will be paramount to the role, as will your technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, and data-mining techniques. Finally, you’ll need a full and up-to-date driving licence and have the flexibility to undertake UK travel.
