What to expect:
The vision of Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) is to significantly increase model line profits with the provision of high performance vehicles and specialised features.
Key strategy elements include :-
• Push the boundaries of the Brands to create Niche “Halo” sports & luxury products
• Enhance premium customer experience through vehicle personalisation and exclusivity
• Provide track built Premium Editions, Bespoke workshop builds and Armour derivatives
• Design and develop a highly profitable range of vehicles across all JLR Brands
The role:
The SVO Quality department at Oxford Road will be responsible for a range of activities which directly influence the external and internal quality performance of our products. These activities include supporting the Customer Acceptance Line; Supplier Parts Quality, PCPA Audit, Hydropulse and Water Test process.
We are currently seeking a Plant Feedback Engineer and a Plastics Process Engineer to support the function.

Key Responsibilities:
Plastics Process Engineer
• Capture and analyse current state process maps
• Develop future state process maps
• Lead/Facilitate implementation of processes
• Establish measures of performance (KPIs)
• Specify IT system requirements needed to support production
• Develop and update process documentation
• Audit processes & set targets to measure performance
Plant Feedback Engineer
• Represent the voice of the customer and promote accelerated internal improvement to achieve total alignment between external and plant internal indicators
• Specifically, map internal quality data to plant quality measures to ensure that customer protection is in place for incoming quality and warranty issues.
• Champion Quality Proven Standardized Practices within the department and the plant.
• Utilize Time and Data Management maintain and develop SVO quality cadence
• Represent Oxford Road for received quality from plant

Candidate Profile
What you’ll need:
• Demonstrate capability and success within Production, Company Quality Experience or a Plant Quality Role. A 6-Sigma Black Belt certification is beneficial.
• Ability to analyse external and internal indicators and develop alignment.
• Resilience.
• Best practice replication.
• Having the vision, developing a plan and the ability to stay the course despite competing priorities.
• Flexibility.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project).
• Should be self-motivated with strong communication skills, ideally with experience of manufacturing quality
• Awareness of process control and capability analysis methods using them to drive improvement
• An ability to communicate across functional boundaries and at different levels is essential
• Be able to work independently, manage changing priorities, identify issues and solutions using
own initiative, coupled with a desire to make a difference and tenacity to achieve results
• Demonstrate drive, with a customer focussed approach and good organisational skills
• Demonstrate technical education and/or equivalent working experience in:
o Quality
o Process / Production role
o Supplier quality
o Manufacturing production methods
o Labour efficiency
