What to expect:
The PTME industrial engineering team work on new engine programmes and model years, ensuring that the programmes deliver to their manpower targets. The scope of delivery is from pre through the virtual phases and into series production
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the achievement of manpower targets and successful launches through the deployment of a range of industrial engineering tools and techniques.
• Work on project management and control in line with the departmental operating system.
• Ensure best practice productivity ideas are incorporated into the programme.
• Work with colleagues to ensure the most efficient products and processes are developed and delivered.
• Work within a cross-functional team of engineers, using deliverables, metrics, timescales and strategy to ensure departmental objectives are met.
• Determine the most effective way of optimizing people and facilities to deliver top quality products.

Candidate Profile
What you’ll need:
• A proven track record for the deployment of a wide range of industrial engineering tools and techniques to achieve programme targets.
• Must be qualified and experienced in M.O.S.T. synthetic time system or equivalent
• Design for assembly analysis through virtual programme phases. Line balance generation.
• Good knowledge of MS Office Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project).
• An ability to work with others / lead a team and influence the design and process to optimise productivity
• Ability to work in a fast moving/changing environment
• Flexible regarding work location – Role will be based at Whitley, but travel to other sites to support installation and launch activities will be required, including the potential for international travel.
• Able to develop simulation models in Witness Maintenance of APT / GSPAS
