ADVERTISED SALARY: £35,000 - £40,000

The Planning team acts as a ‘gatekeeper’ between the wider business and prototype vehicle operations, responsible for X1, M1 & VB prototype vehicle delivery. Your role within our function will be to assist with the planning of key milestones, supporting and maintaining schedules and compiling bill of materials documents.

 

The role will allow the successful applicant to gain exposure to the wider business whilst being responsible for the planning of X1, M1 & VB builds, well in advance of the build start and into build. 

 

You’ll be the key person within build planning meetings, driving our robustness and build readiness, as well as sanitising vehicle specification to minimise complexity and cost.  You’ll define and manage pre-production inspection reports, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with our component and delivery processes.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

Knowledge of whole vehicle systems and BOMs is vital in this role, as is the capability of managing projects and representing prototype operations in meetings with confidence and credibility. You’ll have worked with product creation and delivery systems, understanding and applying the prototype build process in previous roles.

 

Experience of working with and developing prototyping software such as GPIRS, WERS, WIPS, or PPIR RADS is desirable, as is a degree in engineering or similar.
