WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Product Development Engineering is the key technical department for the product creation process, leading the engineering from concept to customer. There are three parts to it: Attribute Quality and Process, Vehicle Integrity Team and Vehicle Engineering Management. Working here, you’ll give our vehicles their unique characteristics. It's all part of creating vehicles that delight customers and set us apart from the competition.

 

As Project Engineer, you’ll have ownership of the engineering targets and sign-off reporting for the programme. You’ll provide reports and prepare presentation packs for use at Technical Issues meetings and other reporting forums such as Launch Management Meetings, Attribute Reviews, and Vehicle Integration Meetings (VIT).

To help guide the programme through the Engineering Gateways you’ll manage our Automated Issues Management System (AIMs), Conformance Plans, Deviations, Attribute Panel Charts, and the ESO (Engineering Sign-off tracker).

 

Finally, you’ll head up Design Verification Plan (DVP) creation and completion management, utilising the Requirements Management & Design Verification (RMDV) tool to interrogate latest statuses and to help drive issues to successful conclusion.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

As Project Engineer, you’ll need a familiarity with some Product Development IT systems such as iFleet Management System, AIMS, RMDV). Ideally, you’ll also have a good understanding of Product Creation & Delivery Systems.

 

Additionally, you’ll have technical knowledge and experience of key vehicle systems and whole vehicle engineering, along with a proven ability to work with technical data.
