Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

It’s not every day you come across high performance versions of existing models, luxury bespoke commissions, heritage models or individually tailored vehicles that set pulses racing. Unless you join us at Jaguar Land Rover’s Special Vehicle Operations (SVO).

Dreams are flawless, sheer perfection, filled with desires and unimaginable aspirations beyond one’s reach. Dreams are what SVO stands for. We’re not looking for the everyday makers; we’re on the search for Dream Makers to join our journey.

As Project Engineer for a high profile SVO vehicle programme, you’ll be responsible for leading vehicle Test and Development planning, and supporting technical gateways with robust delivery of key programme metrics.

Through supporting day to day resolution of technical issues, including co-ordinating trades between teams, you’ll ensure vehicle targets are met to ensure flawless delivery. To keep everything on track, you’ll manage weekly Test and Development meetings - including setting forward agenda and issuing minutes and actions on a weekly basis.

Additionally you’ll track daily progress, manage the Rigs and Kits plan (including co-ordination of physical test properties), and support the technical Executive Summary by managing and reporting status of key Test and Development metrics.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Educated to degree level, ideally in an engineering discipline, you’ll have recent experience working in the automotive industry along with strong technical awareness of vehicle components and systems.

PCDS process awareness, with working knowledge of technical gateway deliverables is essential, along with experience of using key engineering toolsets (RMDV, AIMS, FMS, Digibuck).

Additionally you’ll have:

·  Experience of hands on vehicle maintenance and the ability to support / direct the development of rework and prototype parts as necessary.
·  A  Full UK Driving Licence and the ability to travel between sites as and when required.

Jaguar Land Rover considers that this role does not meet the criteria to be considered within the Home Office Shortage Occupation list. Therefore, Jaguar Land Rover will not support an application for visa sponsorship and all applicants for this role must have an unrestricted right to work for an indefinite period in the UK.

BENEFITS:

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan, private medical cover and performance related bonus scheme. As a manager, you’ll also be able to select one of our luxury premium vehicles to lease at a fraction of the cost. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.

Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
