In your role as Process Engineer, you’ll be an integral part to the development of the plant and our ever-evolving future. You’ll be accountable for delivering machining processes that enable us to produce key components for our new range of industry-leading engines, as well as be expected to liaise with manufacturing engineering on future programmes. Delivering quality objectives, you'll monitor the significant characteristics of the processes used and ensure these are stable and capable.

As a Process Engineer you’ll be responsible for the identification and implementation of future capital expenditure projects to enhance performance. You’ll assist with training for the Production and Maintenance teams through the transferal of key process knowledge.

Working in a cross functional team including PD, PTME, Company/Plant Quality, MTC and Operations, you’ll maintain process documentation including PFMEA, control plans and manufacturing process sheets (stage drawings). You’ll be party to the buy off process for new equipment and linked documentation in a cross function sign off process.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

In your role as a Process Engineer, you'll have an impressive track record in high-volume machining, as well as have an excellent understanding of manufacturing and engineering. You'll demonstrate a process-driven attitude with experience in lean manufacturing, problem-solving tools, quality assurance techniques and process controls. A proactive approach to safety will be required in this role alongside being a strong coach who is able to build relationships at various levels within the business.

You’ll have Knowledge of problem-solving tools and quality assurance techniques coupled with experience of process controls to understand the voice of the process. As a Process Engineer you’ll have the ability to work in cross functional teams working to project milestones to implement new equipment and processes, as well as having the ability to implement changes in an efficient manner ensuring all stakeholders are taken into consideration.

Applications are welcomed from individuals who have an understanding of documentation used to control manufacturing processes and knowledge of CNC programming, although this is not essential.
