WHAT TO EXPECT

 

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability, while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

As Control Systems Engineer you’ll work as part of Powertrain Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), supporting the delivery of integrated sub systems software into vehicle programmes.

 

You'll work with lead engineers to ensure that valid content is specified, manage specific elements of the supplier delivery against this specification, and arrange verification activity to support the vehicle program, ensuring we meet programme requirements for quality, cost, and time. You'll also support software and calibration download and rework of SVO products, with the potential to move into software functional system development.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

 

With a passion for the automotive industry you must have a technical background which is relevant to Engine Management System (EMS) software and calibration development. Alongside practical experience of working with either physical, electrical, or software based technology, you’ll also have experience of planning, co-ordination, delivery, and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes using a Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS).

 

Ideally, you’ll have experience of delivering projects and contributing to strategy development.

 

Finally, you’ll need good communication skills and the ability to work in a cross functional team.
