As Planning and Strategy Analyst you’ll be a key player in introducing new transport planning solutions for our worldwide customers, supporting new projects and executing change within Transport and Distribution
You’ll provide total logistics advice and support around vehicle movement and storage, through industry benchmarking to technology advances you’ll plan, investigate and influence to deliver process change. You’ll be advising on the most cost-effective solutions and working across the teams to develop long-term business models with the help of the latest forecasts.
Although you’ll be mainly office based, we’d like you to be visible across the business on visits across the distribution centers and compound functions.
· Extract data from reporting tools and using/developing modelling tools to interpret and present information; working with data to analyse, report and make recommendations, using formula and pivot tables in Excel
· Use data to make distribution strategy decisions and sharing these with our stakeholders
· Lead projects and change events by engaging with multiple cross-functional internal and external stakeholders against a defined critical path

We’d like you to come from an automotive, distribution, logistics or supply chain, background, but it’s more important to us that you have the drive, motivation and creativity to deliver results coupled with the confidence to be out in the business building relationships across your networks. You’ll have demonstrable work experience whereby you have utilised your strategic thinking and an analytical mind-set and have experience of gathering, manipulating and reporting on large data (eg. Pivot-tables, Vlookups and Excel) and happy to train others.
You’re detail oriented, adept at seeing the bigger picture and a strategic thinker. You’ll have a high level of self-motivation, able to influence and motivate others coupled with a strong customer focus, and a desire to make a difference.
