WHAT TO EXPECT

We employ specialist teams in Legal Affairs, Risk and Compliance, Patents and Audit. Our Legal Affairs team are responsible for corporate governance, protection of intellectual property and the development of commercial contracts. They also ensure compliance with any legal requirements, pre-empt and defend any legal challenges to the company worldwide.

You’ll have the opportunity to join the Business Protection team, a central function that has responsibility for establishing the policies designed to protect Jaguar Land Rover assets. Those assets are defined as people, as well as property, (tangible or intangible), that the company or an individual owns. This is an opportunity to be part of a team that effectively manage the protection of the assets Security and Emergency Operations; to positively impact sales performance and ultimately the profitability of the company. You’ll respond to emergency incidents as per site and operational protocols, which includes Fire Safety Reviews covering all areas of the site. This will also include carrying out a number of fire and security related patrols, a number of predetermined tests, including sprinkler, fire alarm tests at various intervals and routine maintenance procedures. You’ll be responsible for maintaining records using the Records Management Process, (RMP), and you’ll have the opportunity to carry out specific training requirements essential for operational duties.          

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required as this is a customer facing roles where you’ll advise, negotiate and influence at all levels. You’ll have a good level of Information Technology, (IT), skills and will have experience of using Google, Microsoft Office and ability to work with internal software packages. 

Please note that as part of the assessment process you will be required to complete a fitness and medical assessment.
