LOCATION: Gaydon, Warwickshire

WHAT TO EXPECT

The position will offer you an opportunity to develop a variety of complete XCL Chassis and Powertrain related skills and be a key contributor in establishing a new team and gain a unique insight into operating in a new environment.

The role requires the successful candidate to relocate to Moscow, Russia as an International Service Employee (ISE), ideally for a period of 3 years.

To be successful in this role you’ll understand market/region customer expectations, satisfaction and future trends; benchmark competitor vehicles and technology and identify market environment and uniqueness and the impact this has on future product. 

You’ll be responsible for evaluating new technology, functionality and performance prior to introduction, provide support and updates to the FEU and Durability vehicle fleets in the Russia NSC markets. You’ll need to develop root cause analysis of emerging concerns, drive resolution through existing processes and update procedures and standards. Being the conduit from the Russian markets to the UK and other global teams.

You’ll investigate and implement in-market testing of Chassis and Powertrain components, using outside test houses as appropriate. Using these results to drive any required change in Engineering Standards and Test Procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

For this role you’ll need the ability to manage complex technical issues to balance the often-conflicting needs of the business, within project timing constraints. A relevant degree or the equivalent experience is imperative based on the technical understanding required in this role. You'll be resilient and enthusiastic, an individual able to deliver results under pressure in a remote location and you'll need to be available to travel globally. 

You’ll have experienced of chassis and/or powertrain engineering and/or quality issues in an engineering environment and will have experience of PCDS and all engineering planning and delivery processes.

An ability to understand complex technology and to lead problem solving and solution synthesis within project timing constraints is essential.
