WHAT TO EXPECT

As part of our Maintenance Team, you’ll be responsible for conducting a range of tasks -including general Mechanical maintenance to commercial pumps and motors on HVAC systems. Plumbing, to kitchen / toilet installations, fault finding, and providing general building and site infrastructure.

You’ll also provide support on various shift working patterns, to control, install and maintain Hydraulic & Pneumatic equipment. Using your skills and knowledge, you’ll identify faults as well as install low and high pressure hot water systems. It will also be your duty to maintain air conditioning and ventilation systems.

On top of this, you’ll be responsible for all safety precautions associated with your role. You’ll demonstrate safe working practices and will be ready to challenge your colleagues to do the same - championing safety across the workplace

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Like us, you’re passionate about quality and process improvement. You'll hold a recognised Mechanical Engineering / Plumbing apprenticeship, or a Mechanical / Plumbing based NVQ level 3 qualification minimum. Alongside experience in plant room maintenance in a manufacturing environment. You’ll also need to hold a full driving licence for this role as you may be required to operate out of Gaydon from time to time, or a two-shift system depending on the workload. Your technical knowledge will allow you to have a flexible working approach to work in a variety of buildings within state of the art vehicle design and test facilities.
