WHAT TO EXPECT

Lean manufacturing organisation is one of the main pillars of the new Jaguar Land Rover global powertrain organisation. This organisation will be responsible for the definition, development, training and deployment of all the manufacturing process, systems and tools for the new global production facilities. The success of the task will rely on the creation and definition of the organisation structure to deliver the requirements. There are different positions available, and these will aim to strengthen the department. Successful candidates will thus have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to step into roles which participate in a global project of incredible magnitude and importance for the company.

One of these roles is that of the IPS Facilitator, in which you'll be responsible for the development, support and implementation of the powertrain lean manufacturing systems, processes, tools and measurement methodologies.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

As the IPS Facilitator, you'll have working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and working practices in order to provide a high level of detail to your colleagues and the wider EMC plant. You'll have full awareness of production processes and systems, as well as experience of working in high-volume manufacturing environments at various levels. Along with these skills, you'll have a knowledge of Work Element Sheets (WES) and Quality Process Sheets (QPS), as well as exposure to launch processes. You'll be familiar with flexible manufacturing processes and automated assembly lines so that you are able to develop best practices to the team.
