International Upgrade is part of New Model Programmes, based at Rugby and also has a requirement for overseas working. International Upgrade are responsible for upgrading all saleable Pre-Production (TT / PP) vehicles for all vehicle programmes to an external customer saleable condition post Job#1.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure vehicle panel gaps and setting meets the expectation of the second hand customer market (doors, sills, boots, bumpers, lamps, etc)
• Processing and rectification of saleable Pre-Production vehicles and reporting of the rectification issues through the appropriate methods
• Review of Pre-Production vehicles to evaluate required reworks for the vehicle to reach saleable condition
• Support workshop investigations into complex vehicle issues.
• Timely completion of all agreed rectification work.
• Actively involved to ensure that the workshop meets with H+S, Environmental standards.
• Supporting the International Upgrade Team in fully preparing vehicles to meet “Pass to Customer” standards.

Candidate Profile

Skills and experience required:
• Proven strong technical knowledge of vehicle panel setting (wings, doors, tailgates, bumpers, etc) - essential
• Indentured apprenticeship in relevant discipline (Mechanical / Body) - essential
• Strong technical knowledge of vehicle assembly - essential
• Topix experience – desirable
• Experience in problem solving skills & techniques – preferred
• Previous OTA / rectification experience proven to a high level - preferred
• PC literate
• Valid passport
• Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision
