WHAT TO EXPECT

As an Integrated Production System (IPS) Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for supporting and leading all aspects of IPS across the organisation at Solihull manufacturing while helping to define, develop and deliver the IPS strategic approach.

You’ll guide and coach a matrix organisation of embedded IPS system element champion and area representatives. Both facilitating and coaching at plant waste reviews, you’ll promote and maintain a go-look-see approach and help sustain a supportive culture. All the while, you’ll maintain focus on lessons learnt and best practice, sharing the knowledge of processes across all three manufacturing sites.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You should be qualified to a degree level, but your experience matters to us just as much. You’ll have a track record of using lean and continuous improvement tools and waste management techniques within a quality-focused manufacturing environment. In addition, you’ll need to demonstrate a varied skillset taking in the management and analysis of data and cost benefits. You’ll have been involved in the production of metrics and the development of plans with clearly defined objectives as well as using a structured approach to problem solving. Ideally, you’ll have a proven talent for presenting solutions in a compelling way and leading teams to deliver process improvements.

Building strong networks and relationships with a broad range of talented colleagues and key stakeholders alike, you’ll need a flair for communicating clear objectives, progress and obstacles, and coaching workstream leads. You’ll be PC literate and able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office, as well as adopting  a through and logical approach to issues and showing great attention to detail.
