LOCATION: Solihull, West Midlands.

WHAT TO EXPECT

As an Industrial Engineer, you’ll work within the CME team which has the responsibility of maintaining the APT deck, and controlling the times on all the processes. You will work closely with Manufacturing to deliver productivity targets, and reduce the Hours Per Car (HPC).

Working cross functionally you’ll ensure efficient processes are implemented, working with Adavanced Manufacturing teams and Plant Launch to achieve manpower targets, through deployment of lean engineering techniques. You’ll seek out best practice productivity ideas and promote their implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

This will be achieved through having a comprehensive understanding of the Manufacturing operating parameters, the deployment of the Industrial Engineering techniques, benchmarking activities, allocation planning, method study and synthetic time deployment.

You’ll have a track record of leading teams to deliver programmes, incorporating lean processes. You must be Excel proficient and have previous experience in Global Study Process Allocation System (GSPAS) and Allocation Planning Tools (APT). You’ll need to demonstrate agility and flexibility to deliver within tight deadlines and thrive in a fast paced environment. Operating self-sufficiently, whilst developing strong working relationships.
