WHAT TO EXPECT
It takes exceptional people to grow our business and bring our vehicles to life. To attract, retain and develop those people, it takes an exceptional Human Resource (HR) Team. The HR Strategy Manager will work alongside all elements of the HR function, as well as other strategic teams within the business to develop and implement Jaguar Land Rover’s People Strategy. A key part of the implementation of the People Strategy is the development of strategy and plan for the HR function. You’ll work closely with and facilitate key HR stakeholders and the HR Business Planning Manager to develop that plan.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll have two primary responsibilities, Strategy Development and Strategy Implementation. With Strategy Development, you’ll conduct research to identify industry trends, best practice and their application to Jaguar Land Rover’s strategies and initiatives. You’ll also be involved in designing and delivering HR leadership team strategy events and other interventions to achieve alignment on our desired outcomes and objectives. You’ll work closely with Strategy Implementation, Business Planning and Governance stakeholders and groups to translate the people strategy into an ongoing 3-5 year HR program plan; overseeing the overall performance. You’ll work with the HR Business Partner to define HR capability implications of the people strategy and support individual and functional development interventions. To be successful in this role, you’ll come from a HR generalist background, with a MCIPD or equivalent experience. You’ll have a proven track record of supporting the overall improvement of employee capability within a business unit or function, have strong coaching and influencing skills, along with strong verbal and written communication skills.
