The Human Resources (HR) team at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has recently undergone a massive transformation project. HR pays a critical role supporting the business to make the most of our people’s energy and talent, providing the tools, processes and data needed to lead effectively in delivering business plans and ensuring the day to day elements of working life are in place.

The purpose of this role is to provide high quality support to the business to achieve its strategic goals through proactive HR Business Partnering. As the successful candidate you’ll build a credible productive partnership with the Operational Business.  You’ll input and support the execution of the people and organisational plans with a focus on organisation effectiveness, talent management, and building leadership capabilities. Within your role you’ll work with Head of HR and Senior HRBP in supporting an aligned business area. You’ll coach leaders and drive the ongoing development of people capability in the line management population and drive the overall business agenda across your business area. You’ll also identify and evaluate Organisation Design, leading the business through implementation.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

A passionate, proactive, enthusiastic and driven approach, bringing significant energy and excitement to the HR team along with commitment to the journey. You'll be happy to not only challenge business managers and peers, but to support and motivate to achieve the wider business objectives. You'll be operationally minded but will have the vision to steer the business towards larger, strategic goals set by senior management.

You’ll need a breadth of HR generalist experience, with knowledge of specialist areas such as organisational design, talent management and change management, a pragmatic and commercial approach with strong influencing skills at all levels of the organisation as well as strong analytical skills, ability to interpret business strategy and align HR accordingly and have the ability to think and operate strategically. You’ll be able to adapt to working within a changing environment and able to focus and prioritise on the essentials. Please note due to our global reach, some of our HR Business Partners will need to travel internationally within their role. However, UK based roles are available.
