This is a great opportunity to be an active member of the Jaguar Land Rover Base Engines ‘Design and Release’ team for all gasoline and diesel internal combustion engines - designed in the UK for global manufacture into worldwide markets.

 

The Hardware in the Loop (HiL) Technical Lead Engineer is a pivotal role in the powertrain HiL team. In this role, you’ll be focused on ensuring that all new projects related to a sub area are planned, executed and supported from a technical point of view.

              

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Experienced in the design and implementation of hardware in the loop test facility for closed loop control systems you’ll have an understanding of embedded control systems, hardware in the loop system development (preferably dSPACE), vehicle networks (CAN, FlexRay, LIN, in particular), MATLAB and Simulink.

Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and project management skills,  you’ll not only be able to lead your own team of engineers to deliver a technical project to completion, but you’ll also know how to motivate, influence and lead others that are not under your direct report.
