Cost Engineering is a crucial and ever-growing department within our business.  Its primary focus is delivering cost focused activities that look to improve the profitability of the company.  We’ll rely on you to seek ever more innovative ways to improve the profitability of our organisation through areas such as process efficiencies and material cost reductions. It could see you evaluating designs and ensuring contracts with suppliers represent value for money, or providing insights that influence the direction of current and future programmes but continue to meet our quality requirements.

Within Supplier Quality, you’ll be involved in a number of key roles, from new model launch to supplier readiness, you’ll help in the selection and development of our supply base. It’s a critical role within our Purchasing team, which will see you work with key stakeholders both in and outside of the business. All so we continue to deliver the highest quality and manufacturing capability. 

Finally in ‘Customer Services Engineering’, you’ll cover a broad range of activities including attribute management, technical assessments, technical publications and commercial activity.  You could build links with our overseas markets on a regular basis and act as the voice of the customer and dealer technician in our engineering environment.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Excellence runs throughout our entire business and we expect you to be the same. So as well as a degree in Engineering at 2:2 level or higher, you’ll need drive, creativity, a keen eye for detail and a never-ending commitment to delivering results. For those specifying “Supplier Quality”, as travel between sites will be required, a full driving license is also essential.
