The Department
Global Retail Operations has two core divisional responsibilities – implementing a formidable JLR franchise network and implementing fleet & business and approved pre-owned strategies. A key element of creating a formidable JLR franchise network is to ensure industry leading staff competency.
Global Network Learning & Development has responsibility for ensuring a fully competent Retailer network which is capable of consistently delivering an outstanding life-time ownership experience for our customers world-wide. The approach is learning and development starting from a clear agreed set of knowledge, skills and behaviours (Global Retailer Competencies) which sum up the key capabilities required to deliver JLR’s strategic objectives. These are used to develop the content of the global curricula, learner journeys and assessment processes, and drive the way we recruit, develop and manage our people. Training metrics focus on measuring competency levels against an agreed requirement for each role.
The Role:
In this role you will cascade JLR global technical training in-line with Global Learner Journey objectives.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Facilitate engaging training in-line with JLR Trainer Accreditation methodology.
• Technical train the trainer deployment globally to achieve learner journey outcomes.
• Assess internal and external personnel against Global Learner Journey criteria
• Identify and coordinate resource requirements and prioritise accordingly
• Liaise with market representatives pre delivery to ensure all delivery requirements are in place
• Ensure quality and relevance of training delivery supports Learner Journey objectives.
• Provide support to new team members.

What you’ll need:
To be successful in this role you will need:
• A strong ‘Customer First’ ethic.
• A passion for learning and coaching others.
• Significant experience delivering OEM training.
• Advanced automotive and electrical knowledge to include diagnostic processes.
• Possess JLR business objectives and awareness.
• Experience in working/liaising with international communities, desirable.
• Achieved a qualification in OEM or industry Trainer Accreditation.
• Be a cross functional team player.
• Competent in MS software packages.
• The ability to travel extensively.
