Our Marketing, Sales and Service (MS&S) teams are responsible for all customer-facing activities, from developing and maintaining the dealer network to managing importers and export partners. Their responsibilities continue through to global sales planning and supply of vehicles to markets, the sales process to customers, and all global customer service and aftersales activities. 

The Global Technical Support (GTS) function is the point of escalation for all of the Jaguar Land Rover technical support teams worldwide, to deliver premium aftermarket technical support and market hotline coaching to National Sales Companies and Regional Offices.

Working within this team as the Global Technical Support Helpdesk Engineer, you’ll provide technical expertise and solutions to other technical support engineers around the world, when they escalate a case. Where a solution is not available, you’ll engage the Jaguar Land Rover engineering team to assist with a technical solution

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

To be successful in this role, you'll be an apprenticeship-trained automotive vehicle technician (NVQ level 3), ideally with some experience of helpdesk support. You'll have a high standard of interpersonal and communication skills, and you’ll also be fully computer literate.

You’ll need the ability to consistently apply a clear process to define and diagnose complex vehicle concerns. You’ll also have significant technical experience in the automotive industry, including all major vehicle systems and sub-systems (particularly engine management), electronic equipment control, networks and vehicle emissions. You’ll also have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, alongside a ‘customer first’ mindset. Having an NVQ Level 4 / Master Technician qualification would be desirable.
