Our Marketing, Sales and Service (MS&S) teams are responsible for all customer-facing activities, from developing and maintaining the dealer network to managing importers and export partners. Their responsibilities continue through to global sales planning and supply of vehicles to markets, the sales process to customers as well as all global customer service and aftersales activities.
As part of the Marketing, Sales and Service team you'll provide technical expertise and solutions to the Eastern Market National Sales Companies and Regional Offices. Delivering premium aftermarket technical support and market hotline coaching you'll be the point of escalation for the resolution of challenging complex vehicle concerns. Responding via the Technical Assistance system and telephone contact your hours of work will be 05.00 to 13.30 to align with the markets in China, Japan, Australia, India, South Korea and the Asia Pacific Importer Office.
Your responses will be within the agreed timeframes, clarifying the concern through detailed and relevant questioning, gathering the correct technical information and providing an accurate and effective technical solution. Some repairs will be effected remotely accessing the affected vehicle utilising specialist diagnostic software. Alternatively you may find yourself travelling internationally to resolve customer technical concerns.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
You should be an apprentice trained automotive technician with a minimum level 4 or Master Technician. You'll have a customer first attitude expressed through your strong interpersonal skills and ability to achieve a resolution for difficult cases across all Jaguar Land Rover lines.
Significant automotive industry experience is required, including all major vehicle systems and sub-systems, particularly engine management, electronic equipment control as well as networks and vehicle emissions. Helpdesk support experience issuing written resolutions would be an advantage.
