WHAT TO EXPECT

As the Global Strategic Buyer you’ll be reporting to the Global Commodity Leader and be responsible for specific commodities. This will include leading continuous improvements by supporting Centre of Excellence initiatives/activities for their respective sub categories.

 

You’ll also be responsible for internal stakeholder alignment on strategy and sourcing, including a key focus on regional inputs and deployment, and supporting the Delivery team with their supplier relationships using the management processes.

In this exciting role you’ll have full ownership and autonomy of your specific commodity.

 

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll join us with strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills along with an understanding of category management principles, indirect purchasing knowledge and global business understanding and experience.

 

You’ll be results driven demonstrating tenacity, drive and perseverance, and able to deliver in a complex, and highly demanding environment to drive the business forward in a positive way. Naturally, you’re an excellent communicator and leader able to support, mentor and develop your team.
