The Material Planning and Logistics team covers a broad range of responsibilities within our business. Though each team may differ in the technologies, tools, and techniques they utilise they share the same goals: to deliver consistent and sustainable improvements, to lay the foundations to support our growth and to provide innovative solutions that are central to the experiences our customers love for life!

Join us in Global MP&L Logistics and you’ll:
• Prepare business cases and develop best ‘Total Cost’ solutions
• Improve processes and project management, developing new approaches and managing change
• Analyse current and future data
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
With relevant experience in Logistics and/or production control, you’ll ideally have a background in the automotive or manufacturing industry or a similar environment.
You’ll have experience in one or a number of the following areas or have relevant skills and experience that are easily transferable into a Global MP&L environment:
• Supply Chain
• Packaging design and procurement
• Prototype Parts Procurement and Control
• Engineering Change Control
• Inventory Management and Control
• Production Planning and Scheduling
• Project Management.
Effective working as part of a team or working independently, you’re confident using your initiative to question processes, identify issues, and devise solutions. You’re solutions focussed, analytical, and have the mental agility to deliver against deadlines and in challenging circumstances. Innovative and enthusiastic, you never stop looking for the next idea, demonstrating an entrepreneurial spirit and a customer-focused approach, you want to achieve real results.
You’ll be working with a broad range of stakeholders, so great communication skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships are a must. To help you navigate our systems, you’ll also need strong IT systems knowledge in programmes such as Access/Excel/MRP systems. A degree education is desirable but equivalent experience will be considered.
As there will be travel to other sites and suppliers, it is essential that you have a full UK driving license along with flexibility to travel.
