What to expect
These are exciting times for our Gasoline Engine Calibration team, as plans for future products are driving significant expansion and growth. When you join us, you’ll lead key calibration development activities, planning and managing the delivery of work required on test-beds, in vehicles, and through desktop data analysis and simulation. In detail, your tasks could involve base calibration, air and fuel path control, emissions calibration, driveability or misfire diagnostic calibration, as well as specific vehicle feature calibration. You’ll also work closely with a number of other product development areas, including the engine controls/diagnostics section of the department and the engine management supplier.

What you’ll need
With at least 2 years’ in-depth experience of engine management calibration development at test bed and vehicle level, you’ll be ready to demonstrate high levels of technical delivery. Wide-ranging expertise in the use of calibration and data analysis tools – in particular INCA – is essential, and knowledge of automotive industry product development processes would be an advantage. You’ll be working as a key member of a highly skilled team, so your communication and interpersonal skills will be of the highest quality, and ideally you’ll possess first-class talents as a project manager. You should also have good computer skills, with particular emphasis on the Microsoft Office suite of software.
