WHAT TO EXPECT

Using state-of-the-art facilities, you’ll provide the power behind our vehicles working in our Powertrain Engineering team. You'll find the ideal balance between performance and sustainability while responding to the environmental issues that shape our industry.

As a Hybrid Functional System Design Engineer, you'll be part of the Electrified Propulsion Systems, Calibration and Controls team within Powertrain. You'll be responsible for the design and delivery of the functionality controlling the electrified propulsion system. Working with the Voice of the Customer teams and a wide range of sub-system and module owners around the vehicle, you'll lead the delivery of excitingly complex features and functionality to control the electrified propulsion system, including torque control, energy management and customer interface features.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

It is essential that you’ll have previous experience of delivering complex distributed system functionality designs for various assigned features and functions and have gained experience of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) in a professional context, including SysML. In addition, you’ll demonstrate proactivity and be an excellent communicator with strong personal management capabilities including influencing and engagement skills.
