WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll be working within Body in White Prototype Build Operations, where you and your colleagues will be responsible for the construction of prototype vehicles. With your expertise and attention to detail, you’ll enable vehicle and rig testing to be conducted during the vehicle development programme.

As a Sheet Metal Worker/Fabricator, you’ll be a member of the team responsible for undertaking a wide range of sheet metal activities associated with prototype build and manufacture. This includes panel re-works, fabrication, riveting or spot welding, and the manufacture of jigs, fixtures and templates.  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Alongside a completed relevant indentured or advanced modern apprenticeship, we would expect you to have extensive sheet metal fabrication knowledge.

You’ll also be an effective team player, with good interpersonal and coordination skills and will be able to work in a fast paced demanding environment. You’ll be highly motivated, have excellent quality awareness with the drive to deliver a world class product.
