WHAT TO EXPECT
The Human Resources team at Jaguar Land Rover has recently undergone a massive transformation project. That’s why we need your help to keep us focused as we move forward on our path to a successful transition.
The purpose of this role is to provide ergonomics standards, training, advice and investigation to new model programme development and Current Manufacturing teams to support the health, safety and wellbeing of production operators. As an Ergonomist, you’ll provide guidance and direction to a wide range of internal customers as well as working with the Production Ergonomics team to develop improvements to the Jaguar Land Rover Production Ergonomics procedure.
Day to day, you’ll support internal customer groups with their compliance with the Production Ergonomics procedure, company procedures and relevant local legislation. You’ll be required to undertake ergonomics assessments either in a physical workplace or by using relevant software or motion capture technology before reporting the findings to customers. It will also be your responsibility to conduct ergonomics assessment audits with write-ups and follow-ups as per agreed requirements. Finally, you’ll deliver ergonomics training to internal customer groups and participate in development of future training formats as well as participating in research to develop improved Production Ergonomics Standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You’ll be successful in this role taking a team player’s approach and developing strong working relationships. Self-motivated and a natural problem solver, you’ll have the ability to manage your day-to-day projects independently whilst being driven by your passion for ergonomics and willingness to develop your knowledge.
Ideally, you’ll hold a qualification in ergonomics or be qualified by experience from working within a similar role. Experience of project management and ergonomics within Manufacturing will be especially desirable. In addition, you’ll need a good level of IT skills and have the ability to both analyse and present data using IT systems, Microsoft Office and other software packages.
A full valid UK driving licence will be required as there will be travel involved (to Jaguar Land Rover sites based on business needs).
BENEFITS
Bring all this to the home of premium innovation, and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team, a discounted car purchase and lease scheme for you and your family, membership of a competitive pension plan and a performance-related bonus scheme. All this and more makes Jaguar Land Rover the perfect place to continue your journey.
Jaguar Land Rover is committed to equal opportunity for all.
